Violet Personal is a private connector application operated by Simon Robinson for personal and household use. It links the personal Google accounts of a small number of named family members — fewer than one hundred users, each known personally to the operator — to their own AI assistant (Claude, by Anthropic) using the Model Context Protocol. It is not available to the public and access is by invitation only.
At each member’s own request, their AI assistant can: search and read that member’s own Gmail; create and revise email drafts and manage labels; search and read that member’s own Google Drive files and create new ones; and read their Google Calendar, create events, and respond to invitations.
The application contains no capability to send email, delete or trash email, delete files, or delete calendar events — no such operation exists in its code.
