Violet Personal — Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Violet Personal connector application (“the app”) only. For the privacy policy of Violet Co Legal & Consulting’s legal practice, see our main privacy policy.

What the app accesses

With your explicit consent at Google’s authorisation screen, the app accesses your own Google account data: Gmail messages, drafts and labels (read and modify); Google Drive files (read, plus creation of new files); and Google Calendar events (read, plus creating events and responding to invitations).

How your data is used

Your data is accessed solely to fulfil requests you yourself make through your AI assistant, at the time you make them. Your content is relayed to your own AI-assistant session and to no other destination. Your data is never used for advertising, never sold, and never read by any person other than you.

Limited Use disclosure

Violet Personal’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What the app stores

The app stores your Google authorisation token, encrypted at rest in Google Cloud infrastructure in Sydney, Australia (australia‑southeast1). It does not store your emails, files, or calendar content.

It keeps two logs, both of which record metadata only — which account, which operation, and whether it was allowed or refused — and never the content of a message, file or event:

Revoking access

You can revoke the app’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To have your stored authorisation token deleted, email simon.robinson@violetco.com.au and deletion will be confirmed back to you in writing.
